ImageWerks to Host Ribbon Cutting and Series of Career Accomplishments

Local artist celebrates release of two new books, a book-signing, and awards

Kathy Strauss, Creationeer at ImageWerks is celebrating a series of career accomplishments at her upcoming ribbon cutting on September 25, 2023. The celebration will take place from 4-6pm at the Homewood Suites by Hilton at the Coastal Grand Mall, 302 Seaboard St. Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. After the ribbon cutting celebration, Kathy will be on hand to answer questions about her work—as well as holding a book signing for all her books.

Kathy shares that she and her late husband started their business, ImageWerks in 1999 back in Northern Virginia as a graphic design firm. By the time they moved to Myrtle Beach in 2018, they made a conscious decision to fully transition their business to photography and fine art. Over the years, ImageWerks has won numerous awards for the art they create to award for the business itself. A special announcement about the business’ latest award will be made at the ribbon cutting.

In 2022, Ms Strauss took a leap of faith to start writing about how creativity had become her strength and lifeline while caregiving for her husband. With his passing, she began writing and sharing more about how creativity helped her and her dream of writing to help others is now coming to fruition with her first two published collaborative books, Ignite Your Faith (June 2023) and Health-a-Pedia (forthcoming, September 2023). She has a third collaborative book, Ignite Your Creativity (forthcoming early 2024), and her forthcoming solo book: Kaleidoscope: Designing Your Life (late 2024). Ignite Your Faith became an International Bestseller in 3 countries (US, Canada, and the UK).
